Student Program 2026

This year we are offering high school students a special and exciting program. We have partnered with AsEA Conference student alumni, Harvard-Westlake, and TeachAAPI to provide workshops and learning spaces specifically tailored for high school students. Sessions are facilitated at 101 and 201 levels to meet students where they are. Students will focus on identity, allyship, activism, leadership, and building community.

Led by a diverse team of trained adults and peer facilitators, participating students will develop cross-cultural communication skills, design effective strategies for social justice practice through dialogue, and learn the foundations of allyship and networking principles.

Students engage in interactive activities and reflection, leaving with practical tools and insights they can bring back to their school communities.

Newcomer Wyatt Yang has quickly made a name for himself in Hollywood with his effortless acting, equally adept at action, drama and comedy.  Wyatt appears in the George Huang/Luc Besson actiondrama film Weekend in Taipei opposite Luke Evans and Gwei Lun-mei. The film, which marked Wyatt’s big screen debut, follows DEA agent John (Evans) as he’s summoned back to Taipei based on a tip from whistleblower Raymond (Yang). Together John, Raymond, and his mother Joey (Lun-mei) join forces in the name of justice.  On the comedic front, Wyatt stars opposite of comedy legend Ted Danson in the Mike Schur Netflix comedy series "A Man on the Inside," which was awarded AFI's top 10 television shows in 2024. Now in its second season, Wyatt plays a teenage gamer who couldn't find his own socks even if they were stapled to his forehead.  Outside of acting, Wyatt is also a singer, club soccer player, tennis player, martial artist, and speaks Mandarin. He enjoys parkour, biking, scootering, cooking, and loves dogs.
