2016
2016 was the first year of the reboot! At a Leaders of Color workshop series run by Alison Park and Steve Morris, current board members Chris and Stan decided to reboot AsEA and asked other teachers at the workshop—Carwai, Joanna, and Sungbae—to join them. Sungbae brought Leslie and Noah on board and the reboot was ready to go!
Keynote Speakers were Lee Mun Wah and Katherine Dinh.

The conference sponsors were: Black Pine Circle School, Blink Consulting, Fleissig Design, Georgetown Day School, Marin Country Day School, San Francisco University High School, and StrateGenius. Obviously, the committee members had hit up their own schools for funds, and committee members also contributed their own money from their teachers salaries to make this happen!

Leslie found a wedding template pack—this was long before Canva—and the flyer at the right was the result.
